It’s that time again, my favorite fundraiser is back (with a few changes). Sanctuary for Kids launched its winter fundraising campaign today, ‘Pieces and Places.’ In years past they did the house campaigns where you can donate money as a group to buy bricks and the bricks form a house. This time it’s a little different. Instead of bricks, we make puzzles pieces and instead of houses, we form puzzles. The end result is the same but they’re switching it up on us this time.

For those of you that are new to this fundraiser, it’s really quite simple. When you go to the Sanctuary for Kids website to make a donation, just put what your donation is going towards in the comment box. I’ve contacted Sanctuary for Kids and sent them the group name Mutu (it means heart in Nepali) so anyone who would like to take part in this puzzle building group would put that the donation is going towards building the Mutu Puzzle. That’s all there is to it. You may donate any amount you like, as many times as you’d like.

For every $20 raised per group, you get a puzzle piece. There are 50 pieces per puzzle so each puzzle is $1,000. That’s half of what a house was so I know we can build at least one puzzle together. I say we shoot for two puzzles though. If we manage to build two or more puzzles, I’ll try to find something cool to give away. The campaign runs from now until February 14th so we have plenty of time to build a whole bunch of puzzles together.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email, twitter or facebook and I’ll try to help.

I can’t wait to see all what all the puzzles are going to be!

I’ve added captures from Amanda’s debut episode of Package Deal to the gallery. I think we’re going to enjoy her character, I know that I certainly did.

Amanda’s first episode of Packaged Deal airs this Friday, October 17 at 9pm on City TV. Amanda plays Jillian Sharpe, Danny’s new boss.

Calm, cool, collected, and deadly with her words, Jillian plays favourites when it suits her and has no patience for “suck ups.” Outside of the office, she’s left a trail of ex-husbands in her wake and owns a Shih Tzu she can’t house train.

This marks Amanda’s first television role in almost a year and a half. She’s been doing a lot of work behind the camera lately so it’s great to see her in front of it again. You can catch a preview of tomorrows episode below. Captures will be up as soon as I can get to them.

I was lucky enough to receive my DVD of Random Acts of Romance in the mail today and since I didn’t have to work, I watched and capped it. Captures are in the gallery (I might have went a little overboard). Enjoy!

Amanda has been added as a guest to Collectormania 22 in Milton Keynes. It takes place in November and general admission is free. Amanda’s photo op is only £25 and is available both Saturday and Sunday. Her autograph is also £25. I’ve added all the information to the left sidebar.
