AWARDS: I’m a bit late on this front but as I’m sure most of you are aware, Amanda didn’t win a Leo Award this year. But she did win the Women of Distinction Award that she was nominated for. As we tweeted the night of the Leo Awards “@amandatapping may not have walked away with a Leo Award tonight but to us she’ll always be a winner.”

AMANDA ON TWITTER: Speaking of twitter, the cast of Sanctuary will be tweeting on their assigned days of the week while they film. They’re on hiatus at the moment but Amanda is still doing #TappingTuesdays. Each Tuesday, tweet Amanda a question and she’ll pick a couple to answer.
GALLERY: Lots of ‘firsts’ on the picture front for us lately. We posted the first picture of Amanda at the Leo Awards. More pictures have since been added. More recently we posted Outtakes from EW’s Comic Con photoshoot, the one Amanda posed with Richard Dean Anderson at. Upon getting the link just now, I realized we don’t actually have the first (and only, until now) picture from that shoot in our gallery. I’ll get it uploaded in the next couple of days. I’ve also got a couple of pictures of Amanda with Babz Chula from last years Women of Distiction Awards on my computer but I’ve kinda misplaced them. I think they got put into a non-Amanda related folder and I have to go hunting for them. I’ll get them uploaded as soon as I find them. And lastly, thanks to Ariane we’ve got episode stills from the SGU episode Air and will shortly have HD caps of Amanda in Air and Incursion. Thanks Ariane.
BIRTHDAY PROJECT: Kyla and I have been working on something for Amanda’s birthday. We contacted Jill at S4K and just recently got a thumbs up for our project. We’re putting the details together now and should have it ready for unveiling in the next day or so. Keep checking back to see how you can wish Amanda a “Happy Birthday” and help Sanctuary for Kids at the same time.
AMANDA ON ELLEN: Don’t forget about that awesome project to Get Amanda on Ellen. If you haven’t yet sent in your picture for the video and plan on doing so, you have until the end of July. Let’s get Amanda on Ellen.

AWARDS: Is it Award Season in Canada? Seems that way with all the awards Amanda is currently nominated for. First up we have Women of Distinction Awards. I believe Amanda was a nominee last year as well. You can see her profile here and vote for her here. Voting runs through May 28 and you may vote once per day.

Leo Award nominees were announced today and Amanda is up for Lead Performance by a Female (for Pavor Nocturnus) and Sanctuary was nominated for Best Dramatic Series. Sanctuary has nabbed a total of 17 nominations this year. Go Team Sanctuary!
Amanda on Ellen: I can’t believe I’ve overlooked this in past updates. There is an ongoing campaign to get Amanda on The Ellen Show. You can find the lastest updates on @AmandaOnEllen. To check out what is currently happening you can also visit their website amandaonellem.com. They are currently collecting pictures to make a video. Go check it out and lets see if we can get Amanda on Ellen.
S4K: Sanctuary for Kids is currently running it’s second auction. The three items up for bid are: a walk-on role on Sanctuary, a skype chat with Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne and the idol from Pavor Nocturnus. The auction runs from now until April 25th. You can view S4K’s ebay listings here.
AT5: Just a reminder that pre-registration for AT5 is open from now through Sunday when general registration opens. If you’re eligible for the pre-registration dates and intend on going don’t forget to claim your ticket before Sunday.
Sanctuary: Syfy has announced that it’s moving all of it’s Friday night original programming to Tuesdays. This means that when season three of Sanctuary premieres in the fall it will no longer be on Friday night, it’ll move to Tuesdays. The premiere date has yet to be announced.
GALLERY: The gallery has been updated with screencaps from Engaged to Kill.
I know I promised one a while back but I got behind in working on another site. Screencapping storylines you don’t particularly like takes way more time than when you do like it.
GALLERY: Pictures of Amanda at the Syfy Upfronts have been added to the gallery. Personally, this one is my favorite.
AT5: For those interested in going the registration date is approaching. If you went last year and pre-registered then your dates are April 16 & April 17. If you did not attend last year or were unable to pre-register, the general registration day is April 18. Please check the Gabit Website for restrictions on payment options this time around.
