Starland has announced that Amanda has cancelled her appearance at StarFest Denver due to a conflict with the shooting schedule on Supernatural.

Amanda Tapping has just informed us that due to the shooting schedule of Supernatural, she will be unable to attend StarFest this year. She regrets any inconvenience that this has caused her fans and wishes to express her love and hopes to be able to see everyone at next year’s StarFest. Anyone who pre-ordered her autograph or photo tickets can exchange them or have them refunded at the autograph table.

We all know Amanda wouldn’t cancel unless she absolutely had to, so I’m sure there was no other option. If you were planning on going just to see Amanda, make sure you contact Starland about your refund.

On Wednesday April 3 at 11am PST, Amanda will be talking to Adrian Paul and Ethan Dettenmaier on Peace Fund Radio about Sanctuary for Kids.

In order to listen, go to LA Talk Radio and click on the “listen live” link on the right. They even have a call in number (1-818-602-4929) if you’d like to ask Amanda about S4K. The subject of this chat will be S4K, so please try to keep your questions centered on that. The show will be available later in their archives if you’re unable to listen live.

I’ll be posting a reminder the day of on both facebook and twitter so if you forget, I’ll remind you.

PEACE Fund Radio provides a platform for smaller charities to publicise their causes and in so doing share fundraising strategies with the not-for-profit community. It is also a platform for PEACE to publicise its own fundraising initiatives as well as highlighting inspirational PEACE Action Heroes – children and adults who set out to make a positive difference. Peace Fund Radio is sponsored by Vic and Judy Speechley in memory of their daughter Victoria, who worked tirelessly for The PEACE Fund.

On Thursday March 21, Random Acts of Romance will screen at the Women’s International Film Festival in Miami, Florida. It’s scheduled to be shown at 9pm in the Little Haiti Cultural Center. Tickets are available here. General Admission is $15 but if you’re a senior or student it’s only $10.

Random Acts of Romance is a feature comedy about intense characters in extreme relationship situations and the crazy, obsessive behaviors that spring from this thing called love. The film is an emotional roller coaster, punctuated by moments of uncomfortably illuminating comedy as characters confront situations we all identify with. Featuring an ensemble cast of some of Canada’s best actors, who embody the characters with humanity and hilarity.

If you live in the area, I urge you to go. RAoR is hilarious and I guarantee that it won’t end the way you think it will.
