AWARDS: I’m a bit late on this front but as I’m sure most of you are aware, Amanda didn’t win a Leo Award this year. But she did win the Women of Distinction Award that she was nominated for. As we tweeted the night of the Leo Awards “@amandatapping may not have walked away with a Leo Award tonight but to us she’ll always be a winner.”

AMANDA ON TWITTER: Speaking of twitter, the cast of Sanctuary will be tweeting on their assigned days of the week while they film. They’re on hiatus at the moment but Amanda is still doing #TappingTuesdays. Each Tuesday, tweet Amanda a question and she’ll pick a couple to answer.

GALLERY: Lots of ‘firsts’ on the picture front for us lately. We posted the first picture of Amanda at the Leo Awards. More pictures have since been added. More recently we posted Outtakes from EW’s Comic Con photoshoot, the one Amanda posed with Richard Dean Anderson at. Upon getting the link just now, I realized we don’t actually have the first (and only, until now) picture from that shoot in our gallery. I’ll get it uploaded in the next couple of days. I’ve also got a couple of pictures of Amanda with Babz Chula from last years Women of Distiction Awards on my computer but I’ve kinda misplaced them. I think they got put into a non-Amanda related folder and I have to go hunting for them. I’ll get them uploaded as soon as I find them. And lastly, thanks to Ariane we’ve got episode stills from the SGU episode Air and will shortly have HD caps of Amanda in Air and Incursion. Thanks Ariane.

BIRTHDAY PROJECT: Kyla and I have been working on something for Amanda’s birthday. We contacted Jill at S4K and just recently got a thumbs up for our project. We’re putting the details together now and should have it ready for unveiling in the next day or so. Keep checking back to see how you can wish Amanda a “Happy Birthday” and help Sanctuary for Kids at the same time.
